This beautiful red is mostly from the Xinomavro grape, with some Negoska and Mavrodaphne rounding out the blend. The tannins are a little robust, but the fruit is expansive, with a bright Bing cherry dominant, then giving way to Damask plum and hints of sage and rosemary. He calls for grilled meats and a cool evening. ABV: 13%. PC: 545 grams (average).

This is a charming, racy and lively Sauvignon Blanc with ripe flavors of Granny Smith apples, orchard flowers and a hint of lime. The finale lingers like the clear tone of a tuning fork. It is an excellent partner for seafood or poultry dishes. Croatian-born Eva Pemper only launched this brand in 2019 – it’s a name to watch. Sustainable. ABV: 12.5%. PC: 565 grams (average).
