TRENTO, Italy, June 02, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Festive atmosphere at the Festival of Economy, which kicked off this morning with great turnout, especially among young people.
Organized by the Autonomous Province of Trento, through Trentino Marketing and Gruppo 24 ORE in collaboration with the University of Trento and the Municipality of Trento, the Trento Festival of Economics is in its 17th edition.
The halls were full of people at the Palazzo Geremia to watch the dialogue between Ambassador Giampiero Massolo (President of ISPI and Atlantia) and Giuseppe De Bellis, Director of Sky TG24, as well as at the Palazzo della Regione to see the famous Tawakkul Karman, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, the activist born in 1979 in Yemen, president of the Foundation that bears her name and founder of Journalists without Chains in 2005. And then to the Sala della Cooperazione for the meeting ‘Art 45, Constitution and Cooperatives: an indissoluble bond’the Filarmonica where many people listened to Giovanni Tria.
In the afternoon, the opening ceremony of the event took place, opened by the dialogue between the writer Silvia Avallone and Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, president of the Pontifical Council for Culture, who then gave the speech “For a new philosophy of development, between ethics and spirituality”.
On the occasion of the opening at 7.30 p.m. there will be a concert by the Cremona Violin Museum Foundation where the public will be able to listen to the sound of a Stradivari violin played by violinist Clarissa Bevilacqua accompanied by pianist Yu Nitahara, thanks to the collaboration of the Antonio Stradivari Violin Museum Foundation.
The first day will end with two meetings of the Fuori Festival, the original and innovative program of meetings with “educational” and “engagement” activities dedicated to children and students and with infotainment appointments for families and the general public: at 8 p.m. the live broadcast of the journalist and presenter of Radio 24 expert in international news and conflicts Giampaolo Musumeci in ‘Nessun luogo è lontano‘ (No place is far) and at 9 p.m. the musical show of the Ciappter Ileven with ‘Corallo Snake Anthology’ (Coral Snake Anthology), a collection of the stories of crooks, scammers and scammers told on their show on Radio 24.
